September is traditionally “Back to School” month, and it was for all the Majumdar boys for the first time. Rowan has started Chinese at school; he loves it. Shaun and Jay are busy playing baseball, T-ball for Jay and machine-pitch for Shaun. Both of them like it a lot, and it has temporarily supplanted Soccer as their favorite sport. Sareet went for a week-end trip to Thailand to visit old Taipei friends Del and Jennifer and enjoy a day of diving in Pattaya with Darrell and Del.
The eventful month ended with a major typhoon (hurricane) settling over Taiwan for 2 days. This caused massive flooding in Taipei and disrupted much activity for almost a week. When things got back to normal, the boys and some of their friends participated in the Terry Fox Run for Cancer. Rajjina was away for much of this time visiting her ailing father in the U.S. Our hearts and prayers are with him.
