April 2001/Beijing

The Majumdars would like to update all our friends and family on our life in Taiwan. We are enjoying the pace of life and have settled down nicely after a year in Asia. Sareet’s mom is visiting this month, and the kids enjoyed the 2 week Spring Break. We think “Break” gets it name from what kids do to things in the house, while they are away from school. Rajjina and Sareet recently took a trip to Beijing and were shocked to see a Starbuck’s right in the heart of the Forbidden City. Chairman Mao would be turning over in his grave, if they did not keep him waxed in state for all to see. We welcome your comments and will try to keep you updated monthly on our continuous adventure.
